Although this isn't NYC, we still had an adventure, a wet adventure in Washington D.C. with our good friends Erin and Brian. We walked to see the Capital (not raining) and then later on in the day we walked to see the White House and the Washington Monument (POURING). It was at the Washington Monument, were Erin realized that we could see all four major monuments from that one spot and we should have walked there first. It was pretty funny, we were all soaked up to our jean pockets, which were later all hanging in the bathroom. Next time we go on a trip, both Marc and I will pack two pairs of pants and shoes, just in case we get caught outside in the rain.
